3D Model Production With 3D ProBox


There are 2 different ways to produce models with 3D ProBox. One of them is 3D modeling using a mobile phone, the second is 3D modeling on the website after using a camera.


How to 3D scan by phone with 3D ProBox for 3D Modeling?



You can do 3D scanning and 3D modeling by downloading the 3D ProBox mobile application to your mobile phone from the Google Play Store and App Store for free. If you want, you can transfer the photos you have taken from your mobile phone to your computer and make 3D modeling on the website.


Steps of 3D model production with mobile phone


Step #1: Log into the 3D ProBox application.


Step #2: Press the “+” button at the bottom of the page. 




Step #3: Create the project name.




Step #4: Take pictures of the object you want to 3D model.





Step #5: Select the photos you have taken by clicking the upload photo button.




Step #6: After the photo uploads are finished, click the save project button to save your project.




Step#7: Send it to 3D modeling by pressing the 3Dit button.





Step#8: After the 3D modeling process is completed, press the “√” button under the model to confirm the model. If you don't like the model or you want to make it again, press the "X" button.





Step#9: After confirming your model, click the camera button under the model to take a screenshot for publishing, and then click the pencil button under the model to edit the project.





Step#10:Upload the screenshot you took in the previous step as a cover photo.





As in the image, you can choose categories, write descriptions and hashtags and you have to choose the publication type as “public” or “private” to publish your 3D model. Then click the "Update Project" button. Your 3D model has been published!




How to 3D scan by camera with 3D ProBox for 3D Modeling?



After taking photos of the object you want to model;


Step#1: Go to the 3D Probox’s website www.3dprobox.com .


Step#2: Register to 3D Probox.


Step#3: Click the “Create a Project” button to create a new project.





Step#4: Enter the project name to the blank which will be appeared on the screen.





Step#5: Drag and drop the photos of the object you want to make a 3D model to in the "upload photo" field or upload from the file with your photos.





Wait until all the photos uploaded.




Step#6: After the process of uploading the photos is finished, save your project by clicking the “update project” button.





Step#7: Send your saved project to 3D modeling by clicking the “3Dit” button.




Step#8: After the modeling process is completed, press the “√” button under the model to confirm the model. If you don't like the model or you want to make it again, press the "X" button.





Step#9: After confirming your model, click the camera button under the model to take a screenshot for publishing, and then click the pencil button under the model to edit the project.





Step#10: Upload the screenshot which you took in the previous step as cover photo.
